Needed now more than ever
More than ever Tupac's message rings true.
Looking past his gangster persona, jail time and abrasive self confidence is a clear message of unity, freedom and respect. Boldly he shouts for everyone to take a stand and make a change. How many people do you know that had the courage to stand up for what they believe in so strongly that they knew they would die for there words and still continued to preach them. "We gotta take a bigger chance"
Its a shame, no a tragedy that America discredits and even kills its great thinkers and teachers especially the ones making real changes.
Tupac's death shook the Hip-Hop world into rapping about meaningless jargon. Anytime another real message is sold on the streets of America that person immediately becomes a danger to society labeled by the American media.
The more I listen to Tupac's words from the early nineties the more I think we need him in today's new America now more than ever. "When there's hopelessness people evolve"
